Three people critically injured in R34 crash

The weekend started on a bad note when a bakkie, a truck and a car crashed on the R34 near Vryheid. The impact caused the car to overturn, leaving three people critically injured. One person was trapped in the wreckage and emergency personnel had to extricate the patient using the jaws-of-life.
