Voters come out in numbers in Estcourt

Voting is expected to increase even more in the next few hours before 21:00

Voter turnout in Estcourt is steadily increasing as the day goes on. This after voting started very slowly, in dribs and drabs, this morning.

Today (May 29), voters are making their mark to choose the national government and provincial government of their choice.

The different political parties have set up outside the voting stations, singing and chanting their slogans. Police are also out and about to monitor the situation at the various voting stations.

There have been no incidents of violence or intolerance thus far.
