Certain areas go days without water

Areas such as Acaciavale, Rose Park, Hillside, Leonardsville and Aloe Park have not had water since Monday (May 13). Some residents do have water, but the pressure is low. 

According to uThukela spokesperson Jabulani Mkhonza, the raw water pumps are pumping at a lower capacity than normal. 

This has created water shortages in the areas supplied by this water treatment plant.
