The driver of a car travelling on the R103 between Ladysmith and Estcourt lost control late Tuesday afternoon (March 19), resulting in his vehicle rolling at least seven times.
The driver, the Al-Imdaad Foundation’s Abed Karrim, was rushed to Lenmed La Verna Private Hospital, where he was treated for the injuries he sustained in the crash.
“I would like to thank everyone for their prayers of support and all the ‘get well’ wishes I have received,” explained Abed from his hospital bed.
He also thanked all the emergency personnel and passersby who assisted him after the accident.
