IFP PR councillor hands over food parcels to flood victims

This comes after many families were affected by the festive season floods

IFP PR Councillor Ntuthuko Thabede, together with Vodacom, handed over food parcels to flood victims in Ezakheni Ward 6 and 7 yesterday (March 12).

Thabede said the initiative was aimed at lending a helping hand to households that were badly affected by the flooding during the festive season and the beginning of the year.

He said that a total of 50 families had benefited.

“I would like to thank Vodacom for their kind gesture. We will be going to other wards next week, where we will be doing the same,” said Thabede.

He thanked everyone, including businesses and non-profit organisations, that had also joined hands in assisting the flood victims.
