Residents are worried about their safety, as the grass is long and unkempt, and they fear that snakes and / or criminals might be lurking in the overgrowth.

Concerned residents add that crime is high in town, with thieves jumping into people’s yards. In this respect, having long grass is a recipe for more criminal activities to take place in the vicinity.
It is not clear who is responsible for cutting the grass – the owner of the vacant site or the municipality – since the vegetation is not only running wild on the site but also along the road.
