Champ Group partners up with Southey Attorneys to help raise funds for De Jager family

They need clothing, food parcels, toiletries, financial aid and any other items that you can spare.

The Directors and Management of Champ Group Companies, together with Southey Attorneys in Newcastle, have created a trust fund to help raise funds for the De Jager family, who lost their three-year-old toddler in a house fire this morning.

The De Jager family, who reside in a Wendy house on a relative’s property in Amajuba Park, was awoken to the flames that engulfed their home at around 01:00 and quickly tried to escape the inferno.

The father, mother and their eight-year-old daughter, Liany, were able to get out in time but tragically, their three-year-old daughter, Kayli passed away as a result of the fire that engulfed the structure.

“We request the community of Newcastle to assist with food and clothes for the family,” said Johan Pieters of Champ Marketing.
