Ladysmith Hospice hosts jumble sale

This is the first of many such sales to be held by Hospice to raise funds

Ladysmith Hospice hosted their first-ever jumble sale last Saturday (January 27) right outside their premises in Murchison Street.

The community generously donated items of clothing, which were sold on the day to members of the community by enthusiastic Hospice manager Jennifer Rehman and caregiver Mandisa Zikhala.

The funds raised are used by Hospice to continue providing palliative care services to patients with life-threatening diseases and their families.

Ladysmith Hospice would like to thank Canvas & Tent for the gazebo and the ladies from the SK Limit Hill ‘Soup on the Go’ kitchen for lending them their stretch tent for extra shade.
