Prepare your car for the holiday trip

Preparing is just as important as actually getting behind the wheel

Before you take your family on a holiday road trip, make sure your vehicle is in tip-top condition. You don’t want your car breaking down along a deserted stretch of road or getting a flat tyre that could have been prevented with the proper planning.

A holiday is meant to be fun and an occasion to make good memories – not the frustration of having to call out a mechanic or having to change a tyre along the way.

Here’s our handy car maintenance checklist to prepare your car for the road:

– Check your engine oil and water levels, and top up as needed.

– Make sure your tyres are in good condition and have enough air pressure.

– Make sure your brake fluid is sufficient.

– Top up the water for your windscreen washers.

Now you’re ready to hit the road! Have fun with the family!
