Residents furious after water shortages
Residents will again spend the night without water
After going a week without water, residents in Acaciavale, Hillside, Rose Park and Leonardsville are furious with uThukela.
These areas received water today (December 9) after the one-week struggle, but unfortunately, the water was turned off this afternoon once again.
Some residents in the Egerton, golf course and Observation Hill areas are also currently without water.
According uThukela spokesperson Jabulani Mkhonza, the main pipeline that feeds Acaciavale burst between Abattoir Hill and Maidens Castle.

He added that plumbers will attend to the issue tomorrow morning.
