Fun and festivities at annual Glencoe Diwali show

Tunes performed by the renowned Prakash Orchestra had everyone singing along.

Held in the Glencoe Town Hall on Saturday, the annual Glencoe Diwali performance was once again a great success, arranged by the Glencoe Hindu Cultural Committee.
“Our committee encourages peace and unity, and we thank all the artists who worked hard to pull off this programme,” said committee chairlady Jayanthree in her opening remarks. “Sit and enjoy the Festival of Lights,” she added.
Residents enjoyed themselves immensely, cheering on local artists like Renisha Authar, Jia Sivnarian, Nehalia Dookhi and many more.
Tunes were also performed by the renowned Prakash Orchestra.
Song and dance was the order of the day as little boys and girls also took to the runway, parading in stunningly colourful Indian attire.
