Hospital staff check learners’ teeth

Extractions were performed and the children learned about dental hygiene

A dental health campaign was held at Nikela Primary School on Tuesday (October 31).

The programme was put on by a team from Ladysmith Regional Hospital’s Dental Clinic.

The team leader was Sister Anusha, accompanied by nurses and dental staff.

Extractions were done, where necessary, and the project was a great success.
