Raelene Phillips wins KZN Miss Teen Excellence provincial
Raelene Phillips expressed gratitude to everyone who supported her travels to Johannesburg.
Local beauty queen Raelene Phillips recently won the KwaZulu-Natal Miss Teen Excellency crown.
The prestigious event took place at The Victoria Theatre in Johannesburg on September 9.
“My biggest inspiration during the pageant was watching one of the models compete despite having a fractured ankle and continuing to walk the runway,” said Raelene.
She added that the contestants were a breath of fresh air.
She continued by saying she was looking forward to volunteering with neighbourhood charities.
Raelene concluded by stating that working with children on the outskirts of Dundee and the neighbourhood is her greatest interest. She said, “I also feel strongly about the fight against gender-based violence, as well as the abuse of women and children.”
When asked about her upcoming endeavour in the beauty industry, Raelene informed the Courier that while she can’t yet provide many specifics, she will be competing in another significant provincial competition.
