Sarel Cilliers supports SPCA

The learners paid a 'fee' to wear casual clothes, which was used as a charitable contribution to support this cause.

Sarel Cilliers held a Civvies Day earlier this term to raise much-needed funds for Dundee SPCA, who do sterling work to help local animals in need.
The money raised was handed over to the SPCA last week, with SPCA officials coming to the school to thank the learners and staff for their support. Anele Shezi, Devan de Wit, Teagin Pillay and Avani Harrillal from Class 11A were on hand to meet the SPCA officials and proudly present them with the money raised.
Heritage Day
Sarel Cilliers hostel learners recently hosted a cultural event in support of Heritage Day.
The girls all looked stunning, with Penniel Shezi crowned as ‘Miss Cultural Indoni’. Thank you to Miss Ncala for organising the event, which was certainly the highlight of the term for the hostel learners. School closed on Friday for a short holiday, after which the matrics will return for a review of their papers before preparing for their final exams

Penniel Shezi was crowned Miss Cultural Indoni at a function hosted by the Sarel Cilliers hostel learners.
