House in Kudu Street catches fire

No injuries were reported

Alfred Duma fire-fighters and Public Safety responded to a fire that broke out at a house in Kudu Street today (September 16).

It has been reported that a lapa caught fire first and then the roof of the main house.

Fire-fighters managed to contain and extinguish the blaze in the main house. However, the lapa was completely destroyed.

Nearby residents helped the homeowner to move valuable possessions to a safe place.

No one was injured in the fire.
