The Hindu Dharma Newcastle held their 24th annual Maha Yajna Pooja on Sunday.
During the ceremony, sacred verses (or mantras) are chanted.
“These mantras will burn up all your difficulties, health problems, mental uneasiness, and financial strife. We do not want you to take all your challenges back home but rather take this energy,”said Pundit Suresh Maharaj
The day was a huge success, and devotees returned home in high spirits.
Mukesh Ramdharee, shairperson and organiser of the event, thanked everyone who contributed in cash or kind to the Maha Yajna Pooja for 2023.
