A night under the stars at St Dominic’s Newcastle
Stargazers of all ages came together on Friday night at St. Dominic’s for the biggest celestial event in the country
In partnership with Celestron, local astronomer, environmentalist and Celestron ambassador Angus Burns hosted a star gazing evening with live projections of the moon, various talks, entertainment, food and fantastic prizes up for grabs.
A display of three telescopes donated by Celestron SA, which attendees could enter to win, was one of the highlights.
Everyone had a good time being reminded of the beauty that exists outside of our own planet.
