Al-Imdaad responds to school’s needs

The school is grateful for all the donations, but is still in need of help

The Al-Imdaad Foundation recently held an awareness campaign at Ladysmith Secondary School (Lasec).

The campaign was in partnership with the Ladysmith SAPS Community Policing Forum, SAPS Women’s Network, SAPS Youth Desk, SAPS Rural Safety & Traditional Leaders, SAPS Men’s Sector, Department of Correctional Services, and Confidence With Care organisation (NGO).

Lasec is currently facing a financial crisis. Upon request from the school, Al-Imdaad responded with toilet paper for the learners and mattresses for the school’s sick room.

Lasec acting principal Mr Padayachee was very appreciative of the foundation’s response to the school’s needs.
