DAWN members waved placards and demanded that justice be done

The Democratic Alliance Women’s Network (DAWN) held a placard demonstration outside the Ladysmith Magistrate’s Court this morning (August 23).

DAWN members gathered for a peaceful, silent protest to take a stand against the sexual abuse of minors.

A 31-year-old suspect was appearing in court for the alleged rape of a 10-year-old girl.

The ladies of the DA, as well as some men, were there with their placards bearing slogans to show their support for the victim and demand that justice prevail.
