Man charged after Glencoe woman is stabbed to death

Murder:

A man was arrested after a 32-year-old Sithembile woman was stabbed in the neck and died. The victim was taken to Dundee Hospital on August 13, where she succumbed to her injuries.
Police investigations continue.

Attempted murder, plus possession of an unlicensed firearm, ammunition and drugs:
A man fired shots at police in Nquthu following a fight at a tavern last Thursday evening.
When police responded to the call, the suspect fired two shots before attempting to flee. However, he was caught and arrested. The 30-year-old was charged with attempted murder, having an unlicensed pistol, ammunition and 210 sachets of what is thought to be crystal meth.
He will appear in the Nquthu Magistrate’s Court soon.
