Azile Mazibuko- A finalist in the Miss Preteen Universe 2024

"I need the entire Endumeni community to vote for me on the Preteen Universe South Africa page on Facebook and Instagram in order for me to win."

13-year-old aspiring model Azile Mazibuko has been chosen as a finalist in the Miss Preteen Universe 2024 pageant.
Azile, a pupil at Dundee High School, only began competing in beauty contests last year; this will be her first prominent international competition.
“Having one of our very own teen models, Hlonela Mrwetyana, be named second runner-up in this global contest proved to me that the sky is truly the limit,” added Azile. She continued by saying that Hlonela is her role model and that the moment she was declared the second runner-up winner on a global runway, she was overcome with emotion.
“I need the entire Endumeni community to vote for me on the Preteen Universe South Africa page on Facebook and Instagram in order for me to win.” When asked what she would do if she won, Azile responded that it would provide her with avenues to new opportunities and give her a platform from which to support other young women in the profession.
Azile remarked that, “Winning this pageant will open doors for me and also prove that coming from a small town should never stop you from dreaming big and going global with your dreams. Young girls should always look out for one another and act as one another’s stewards,” she said. She concluded that she enjoys gymnastics and dancing. “I also like to swim, play hockey and play tennis at school.”
