Majuba Rotary extends a helping hand to Utrecht’s Huis Johanna

Couper commented that the Old Age Home struggles financially as the ever-growing need for homes for the elderly continued to put extra pressure on the home.

Majuba Rotary recently donated 38 kilograms of meat to Huis Johanna in Utrecht as part of their continuous efforts to assist the struggling old age home.

Daniel Couper of the Majuba Rotary and members were made aware of the home’s constant need for food and felt compelled to help the residents of Huis Johanna.

This prompted Couper and fellow Rotarian, Sakkie du Plessis, to step in and make the generous donation.

Couper commented that the Old Age Home struggles financially as the ever-growing need for homes for the elderly continued to put extra pressure on the home.

Furthermore, the Majuba Rotary Club will be hosting a golf day at Kilbarchan Golf Club on October 21 to raise funds to support similar institutions and projects within the community.

Players are welcome to book their spot for R150 per player.
