The NOFTA Hall committee members during the Women's Day fun walk
Local walkers and runners flocked to Nightingale Street on Women’s Day (August 9) for the NOFTA fun walk.
Residents of all ages laced their tekkies in order to feel good about being active and contributing members of their community.
Others took a leisurely walk to catch up with friends, while the fitter competitors pushed their bodies to get to the Boundary Road marker and back in under 15 minutes.
Proceeds of the fun walk will go towards sustaining the organisation and benefiting its members.
