AACL gives thanks to the community

Donations can be dropped off at the Ladysmith Gazette offices as part of the 'Caxton Cares' initiative

The Animal Anti-Cruelty League (AACL) would like to send a huge thanks to the community for their continuous support. “Without the community and their donations, we would not be able to keep our doors open,” said animal inspector Pauline Lennon.

The league appeals to the public to continue donating. The weather is very nippy these days and the animals also get cold, just like humans, so donating blankets is always a great idea. This will help to keep the animals warm and would be greatly appreciated.

The league has many cats and dogs that are currently up for adoption and in desperate need of good homes.
