Volkies choir excells during TKV Applaus Competition

The Volksrust High School choir, under the baton of conductors Mrs. Steyn and Mrs. Dladla, recently participated in the ATKV Applaus competition.

Our young choristers ascended the stage and put their best foot forward with a diverse repertoire of songs in isiZulu, Afrikaans, Italian, and isiXhosa.

Though this was the choir’s first stint, it surely was a great opportunity to learn and grow musically.

The choir made Volkies proud with its performance as well as its exemplary conduct. And, in the words of the judges, “This choir has pride, energy, vibrancy, and confidence.”
