uThukela holds strategic planning session
The mayor attended the session, along with councillors
uThukela District Municipality organised a strategic planning session to plan for the next financial year, which was held at the Crown Hotel recently.
The main purpose of the gathering was to re-evaluate and debate ideas for providing high-quality services to the community. It also sought to set the tone for the creation of strategic agendas, analyse institutional performance, and discuss the implementation of municipal programmes.
“There are many ways to think when we talk about strategic planning. One renowned strategist once said that if you fail to plan, you plan to fail. This is very true, hence it is important for any organisation to do proper planning to conduct their business,” said Mayor Inkosi NB Shabalala.
