Potholes multiply and get bigger
Not only a sight for sore eyes, but also a danger to passing vehicles
The corner of Carbineer and Kranz Road is filled with potholes, both big and small, while tiny gravel stones lie in and around the gaping craters.
Described as a sight for sore eyes, residents and motorists are bitterly unhappy about the condition of the road, saying that the potholes just seem to get bigger and bigger as each day passes.
“I have complained about the road once before, but nothing was done. Now the problem has gotten worse and complaining seems pointless these days,” fumed one resident.

A local motorist commented that, “I don’t even stay in the area, but I noticed the state of the road when I was driving past. I do not understand why it would be left like this without anyone trying to fix the problem. Our vehicles get badly damaged because of these potholes and the municipality doesn’t seem to care.”
