Al-Imdaad Foundation lends a helping hand

The foundation provided meals and candles to people in need

The Al-Imdaad Foundation went out to Limit Hill to distribute food and candles recently.

The foundation decided to embark on this initiative because some parts of town were still experiencing power outages after the substation in Newcastle Road caught fire.

“As part of the ward committee of Limit Hill, I saw the need because the community was suffering. Therefore I asked the Al-Imdaad Foundation to provide meals and candles to those in need, which they did. I am humbly grateful to the foundation for all they did to assist the communities of Limit Hill and Model Kloof,” said Jennifer Rehman of the Ward 22 committee.
