Residents and motorists are complaining about unfinished municipal roadworks at the corner of Farquhar and Harrismith roads.
The area was closed off while work was being done by the municipality, but the job has been left unfinished for some time now.

“The unfinished work is causing a lot of problems, because some people are not aware of the situation and don’t slow down when approaching this stretch of road. They then have to brake and take evasive action at the last minute, which is dangerous and could lead to bad accidents. The state of the road is appalling, with a gaping hole in the ground. Why aren’t they carrying out repairs and fixing it up?” said a resident who lives nearby.
