Pothole angers residents in Diamana Road

People are saying that the pothole is not only a hazard to vehicles, but also a danger to their children

Motorists and area residents are angry about a huge pothole in the middle of Diamana Road.

Drivers complain that they have to swerve out of the way and at the same time make sure they don’t crash into other vehicles travelling in the opposite direction.

“This pothole is a threat to our children too, because when vehicles take evasive action to avoid the crater, they just might hit kids playing at the side of the road,” said a concerned resident.

At the time of publishing, the local municipality had not commented.
