Frustration over water leak
"Water is going to waste and yet the municipality takes no action"
Residents are frustrated by the water leak at the corner of Residency and Diamana roads.
Water continually flows into the road, making it difficult for motorists and pedestrians who have to avoid the resultant ‘pool’.

The leak has been there for quite some time now and nothing ever seems to be done about it.
“Our complaints always fall on deaf ears. We’re living in a water crisis, so why is this not a top priority?” fumed one resident who lives in the area.
Alfred Duma Local Municipality had not commented at the time of publishing.
