Pedestrian hit in Harrismith Road

Police, Public Safety and ambulance services responded to the scene

A pedestrian was knocked down by a vehicle in Harrismith Road this afternoon (April 4).

Emergency personnel responded to the scene and found that the man had sustained serious injuries. Paramedics put the pedestrian onto a stretcher before rushing him to hospital. 

Public Safety also responded and controlled the flow of traffic.

The driver of the car was in a state of shock. The vehicle’s windscreen was shattered by the impact.
