‘Time for easter eggs’ by Halalisani Shoba

The act of forgiveness is not a miracle, but in order to forgive those who have hurt our kindness, we should be ready and prepared so that when we forgive it becomes a complete process.

Easter fever is back, time is flying. It’s that time of year again when we get to spend time as a family after trying to find our way in the new year. I hope we are still on track to accomplish what we prayed for in 2023. No one said it will be a walk in the park full of flowers and beautiful butterflies, but we have to fight against all odds.

Someone once said, “It always seems impossible until you make it” No matter what situation you are in, just pray and keep going without thinking of giving up.

It is no coincidence that we have the Easter holidays on our calendars, but the Easter holidays are there because they have a purpose. Whether they agree with your belief system or not should not be that important in my opinion, but what is important is that we show love and compassion for each other in this moment. Let us love, embrace and tolerate each other.

No matter if you are black, white, brown, pink, orange or purple, with love and kindness for each other we can overcome anything in this world. Of course, you cannot talk about love without saying something about forgiveness.
The act of forgiveness is not a miracle, but in order to forgive those who have hurt our kindness, we should be ready and prepared so that when we forgive it becomes a complete process. We should forgive, but we should not rush it. I know we all have different systems and lifestyles, but may we all embrace the act of forgiveness as something basic or something we depend on as we continue to live and pursue happiness.

May we have more tolerance for each other, especially for those who use public roads. We will all be in a hurry, but that should not be at the expense of another person whom we needlessly put in a dangerous situation.

Let us all arrive at our destinations alive during and after the Easter holiday. On sober reflection, this is quite possible.
