Businessmen join hands with police

The aim is to unite both parties in the fight against crime

A meeting was held between business owners and the Ladysmith Community Policing Forum (CPF) at the Town Hall recently. The aim of the meeting was to establish a forum of local business houses in the CBD.

The idea of a forum comprising members of the business community was born at a CPF meeting late last year.

CPF member Dr MSM Mazibuko said this is a good way for police to network with business and fight crime together.

He added that the attendees were encouraged to spread the word in the business community and bring everyone on board.

Mr AK Hoosen, the elected chairperson of the forum, can be contacted on 0829068786 for more information.
