Students protest outside college

They are saying that their financial aid funds are not enough and differ from student to student

Mnambithi TVET College students are protesting outside the college this morning (March 14). A huge group of students have joined the ones who started the protest. They are burning tyres and toi toi’ing.

According to the students, the reason they are protesting is because their National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) funds are ‘very little’ and each student is receiving a different amount. They are questioning why the amounts are not equal.
