Al-Imdaad donates to storm damage victims

The foundation has been helping in different areas, including Roosboom

Residents of Driefontein – in Ward 17, 18 and 19 – were happy to receive food parcels from the Al-Imdaad Foundation last week.

The foundation was there to help people whose houses were damaged in recent heavy storms.

The donations were handed over at the Amahuku Community Hall on Friday morning, March 3.

Ward 17 Councillor Thulasizwe Mlaba said they are very grateful to the Al-Imdaad Foundation for always lending a helping hand.

“We know this is not enough, but we hope it will make a difference for the time being. We are looking for help from other places as well. Should we get something, we will come back again,” said Mlaba.
