Motorists warned to avoid Amcor Road as flash flooding continue
Motorists are advised to use alternative routes as continuous rain fall has caused flash flooding at Amcor Dam along umfolozi Road.
Ashok Anandhaw, Chief Traffic Officer at the municipal Community Safety division, has advised motorists to avoid Umfolozi Road (Amcor Dam Road) after torrential rains caused flash flooding in the area.
In the meantime, motorists are advised to take alternate routes.
“We are also urging motorists to drive with extreme caution because the rain is causing ‘unnoticeable’ potholes to erupt,” he concluded.
