Social United FC crowned as Maphisa Cup champions

The recent Maphisa Cup Tournament was graced by referees from the Premier Soccer League.
A total of 18 teams competed in the Maphisa Cup Tournament that took place at the Maphumulo Stadium from December 24 to 26.
Organiser Bongani Mlambo commented that this fourth annual event proved to be the best of them all, as oodles of young talent was on display for all to see at the football ground.
The final saw Dundee Social United FC beating Matilosi FC. The winners received a cow, soccer kit and gold medals.
“This year, we included the U/15 Maphisa Cup and the winners were Young Strikers, who also received a sheep,” said Mlambo.
