Bergville road and Colenso road now open
It is unknown if the protests will flare up again...
The 103 Colenso road and R616 Bergville road are both now open again.
According to officials, rubbish is still scattered along the roadway near Acton Homes (Bergville), but the rocks have all been removed and traffic can flow freely.
It is unknown if the roads will remain open, as the protests are ‘off and on’ in these areas.

However, for now, the roads are safe and motorists can use these routes.
