Motorists travelling from Ladysmith to Colenso are advised to use alternative routes, since the R103 is still closed by angry protesters.
This water-linked protest has been ongoing since the beginning of the week.

uThukela communications officer Nothile Zwane said that tankers have been dispatched to distribute water in the affected areas.
She added that Speaker Cllr TY Nqubuka, together with Cllr Zuma, will meet with the protesting community to address their concerns.
