Dannhauser residents urged to prepare for planned water shutdowns

Water tankers will be dispatched to help in the affected areas.

The Amajuba District Municipality has released a statement, informing Dannhauser residents of a planned water shutdown between today and tomorrow (January 17).

“This is to notify Dannhauser residents of a planned water shutdown on Monday and Tuesday (January 16 and 17).

This is to allow the appointed contractor to connect the new reservoir outlets to the network and will also be used to repair leaks in the raw pipeline.

This will have a direct impact on Dannhauser, Emafusini, and Durnacol.

However, water tankers will be dispatched to help in the affected areas.

Residents are requested to use water sparingly and report all leaks and illegal connections.”
