Potholes at Reservoir / Chevril Road intersection

'Carnivorous' craters are just waiting to 'bite' into vehicle tyres

Like other streets that have been ‘gobbled up’ by potholes in and around town, the Reservoir / Chevril Road intersection is no different.

Motorists not only have to stop to give one another right of way, as road rules require at a stop street, they also have to swerve into oncoming traffic to avoid the numerous craters in the road surface.

“These potholes have been like this for quite some time and I doubt if they will be fixed anytime soon, since no one cares about the ratepayers,” said a motorist living in the area.
