Parts of Ladysmith wake up to dry taps
uThukela apologises for the inconvenience caused
Residents woke up this morning (January 11) to no water in areas such as Hillside, Rose Park, Ezakheni, Acaciavale, Aloe Park and parts of Steadville.
According to uThukela spokesperson Jabulani Mkhonza, an Eskom power failure at the Ezakheni Water Treatment Works has affected the water supply.
The fault was reported to Eskom last night (January 10) and Eskom technicians have been on site since 21:00 last night to attend to the problem.

uThukela is currently waiting for the repairs to be completed so they can resume operations.
