Ladysmith police have opened two inquests after two bodies were found recently.
One of the bodies was discovered in the Klip River, Steadville area; and the other in the Ingula River, Peacetown area.

The deceased found in the Klip River has been identified as Philasande Christopher Mwelase (32), while the other dead man has been identified as Thulebone Joseph Thabede (29).
