Honorable Mayor, His Worship Cllr. Prince Ndabuko Zulu has embarked on a progressive program of advancing rural communities through sporting programs that highlight the importance of developing and investing in previously disadvantaged communities such as Charlestown.
In this regard, the Mayor continued the Mayoral Festive Season program on December 27 by participating in various soccer tournaments, including the Charlestown Tournament, which was held at the Charlestown High School Sports Grounds.
In his involvement with the Charlestown community His Worship used the platform to congratulate the organizers, athletes, and spectators on the tournament’s continued success, which has become an annual event in the Charlestown community.
He also emphasized the importance of sport in eradicating social ills such as crime and drug abuse, and vowed to support such programs.
