Ezakheni residents donate blood

The donors all received a token of appreciation for their efforts

The shortage of blood all over the country has forced the South African National Blood Service (SANBS) to come up with new strategies to motivate people to donate.

Some of these initiatives include visiting shopping malls to carry out blood drives.

The SANBS, together with Vuma FM radio presenters, were at the Ezakheni Plaza last Saturday (December 3) as part of the ‘Summer Campaign’.

Having begun on Monday, November 14, this campaign is aimed at increasing collections over the festive season.

All the donors who gave a life-saving pint received a token of appreciation.
