The annual Hospice Tree of Lights ceremony is scheduled to take place on Friday (December 9).
This annual remembrance ceremony allows locals an opportunity to reflect on the lives of loved ones they have lost.
The event is a heartfelt and emotional one during which hymns and messages are shared. Thereafter, the Tree of Lights is switched on, which is a delight for all who attend.
This year’s ceremony will be held at Hospice House (Beechwood Road) at 18:30. To dedicate a light in memory of a loved one at a cost of R50, contact the Hospice office on 036 352 5634 or visit the office, where forms are also available.
