I Matter Foundation host Human Rights Empowerment workshop

The I Matter Foundation and the Amajuba District Department of Social Development are committed to ensuring the safety and support of people with disabilities.

A human rights workshop, with an emphasis on assisting those with disabilities was organised, on November 28 by the I Matter Foundation, Department of Social Development and Aids Foundation SA.

The workshop’s goal was to provide more influence to role players who assist persons with disabilities in the community. These include disability forums, NGOs, and parents of disabled children, more influence.

The foundation stated that it was grateful to the participants who accepted its invitation and spoke about the many services provided by Home Affairs, SASSA, CCMA, Sports and Recreation and other NGOs.
