Guiders workshop offers hand-on training
The new Guiders had an interactive day of training
An interactive day was planned for the Girl Guide Unit on October 20.
A Guiders workshop was held at the Estcourt Methodist Church and was hosted by District Commissioner Hleziphi Ndaba from Sifisosethu Primary School.
The fruitful workshop included the training of new guiders. They were taught how to start a Girl Guide Unit as well as advised about the activities that are practiced in Teddies, Brownies, Guides, Rangers as well as young leaders.
Practical lessons were part of the day, with worksheets issued as well.
