Three dead in N3 crash

Emergency personnel rushed the sole survivor to hospital

Three people lost their lives today (November 24) in a crash on the N3 heading towards Durban. The accident happened about 40km out of Ladysmith, after the Tugela Plaza. 

According to a source, one of the tyres allegedly suffered a blow-out and the driver lost control of the vehicle.

Four people were in the car, three of whom died. One is currently in hospital in a critical condition.

Traffic flow is slow at the moment, but the road is open. People travelling in this direction are advised to proceed with caution.
